Many of us don’t don’t what questions are allowed to be asked on a job interview.
Just in case you did not know, here is a list of subjects:
Employers should not ask about any of the following, because to not hire a candidate because of any one of them is discriminatory:
- Race
- Color
- Sex
- Religion
- National origin
- Birthplace
- Age
- Disability
- Marital/family status
It is best to ask the intent of the question. Then again refusing to answer may cost you the job but then again, what picture does that paint of the company.
