I met a recruiter a couple of weeks ago from Coupons.com. Given the steady decline of the print industry during the past several years, retailers and manufacturers have had to find other ways to get their coupons to customers. And so, the creation of companies such as Coupons.com.
According to the information on their website, the company was founded in 1998 by Steven R. Boal; he is also the company’s President and CEO. His management team is made up of people who have worked at heavy-hitting companies like Yahoo, MarketMax and Propel. Coupons.com is privately held and headquartered in Mountain View, CA.
The concept is pretty simple and cool. It allows companies to keep better metrics on where people are buying their products.
